A month almost passes in this new year....a new year that doesn't feel 'new' anymore.
I haven't go into a motivated self, haven't able to feel promising abt my career, haven't got a clear clue how to be better ... better in career, in life, in ministry, in friendship, .... i just have to keep remindig myself don't slip further.

Xmas Cards

I posted some publications to my sister last Sat, and in it I also attached 2 little Christmas cards for my two nieces. Tdy they have received it & the 2 girls were so happy abt it !?!? I never thought this little gesture will bring them joy...and it also bring me joy in knowing they're happy !

Sometimes, i think...we are too lazy to extend a little of our appreciation, love, concern to our love ones. Why huh? I think most of the time we think it is unnecessary, no need lah, maybe ppl wont appreciate it...etc. But, it does matter. We should remind ourself not to be stingy is extending what we can, not being lazy, and not asking/expecting for rewards if we do so. The joy we bring to others will also come back to us.

I'm brain dead these days :( Cannot cook a thing out from it for my assignments !!!! Heeeelp !!!!!

2009 CNY

2009 CNY come and gone. It was such a quiet and boring CNY ! Since when CNY mood has changed so much ?!? I felt sad for my nephew couldn't experience a real happy Chinese New Year. Gone are the days where a house is full of children and many families celebrating under one roof. Today, worst still if u are in a foreign land and not in your kampung, u are the only family with no relatives staying in the same land as u are. U only have one kid. There is no celebration but just holidays. U just stay at home watching tv, tv watching u. U dunno what to do. What CNY ?

Sigh......

Happy Birthday

Today is my b'day :) I haven't been celebrating b'day for so long, and actually didn't quite remember it when my b'day was approaching until yesterday.

Yesterday my division secretary came to my place & asked if tomorrow is my b'day ? From her it reminded me that it is my b'day ! A nice surprise to me when she handed me a bottle of sweets from our division big-big boss ! How thoughtful of this boss ! Btw, our whole division (i think) has at least 60++. A lesson to learn: a generous boss shows her thoughfulness & care on staffs, a gesture as a leader huh !?!

I have my other surprises when i received well wishes sms from some friends...it really made my days ! Never thought that these friends remembered my b'day !!! A lesson to learn: a simple well wishes o your friends show that you still remember them and let them know that he/she still in your mind although we might not have spoken to each other for some time. How nice !!!

My new colleagues, generously bought me lunch today ! TQ teams !

Merry 2007 Christmas !

This year Christmas came and went without much exciting...for me.
I missed last year Christmas where once a life time my whole family was able to get together.
This year, me alone in pj. Attended church celebration on 25th morning; i have missed last 2 years church celebration, so i decided to stay in town...at least to show some support to my church. This year my church having the celebration in one of the community hall; we managed to achieve our bold 500 attendees! God is indeed a good & generous God!
Dunno since when, i am not exciting to this "important" festive..... i just find it too commercialized even if is a church celebration. I prefer small & closed 'celebration' inside a church & not in a big hall or hotel. Sigh..... next year celebration will fall on my hand, i am now scratching my head how to make it different & meaningful !

Anyway, this the best season in a year. Wishing all a blessing Christmas !!!!!

Health going down at 40 ?!

Aging is a phenomenon everyone will have to go through. When u are in your 20s 'aging' is not in your dictionary. U maybe still fit & healthy in your 30s, but when u approaching the big 4...somehow u started to feel it 'not right'. Putting aside the look, u just cannot compare your stamina with a 20s something when u are in ..say gym. I knew it becoz i've been through it....ahem, actually starting to go through this 'phenomenon'.

I guess we human just never learn. When we're healthy we never think that it is necessary to take any extra steps to maintain our good health, or to do something to our health so that we can delay our aging process. Worst still if one only realize the importance when something happened.

So, what do i need to do now since i am in my big 4? I have no choice, since i am now facing the 'aging phenomenon', i'm starting to take supplements...i just hope although maybe is a bit late but never too late...right ?
