I cannot believed that in this 21st century, there are men that not allowing their wife to work ! I can accept that if the man is very rich, he needs his wife as a PA or to bring her out regularly to socialite - in this case the wife actually is 'working' for him, or that he has many children that are still very young & very difficult to manage, or that they cannot afford to have maid/baby sitter. In whatever circumstances, if the wife hershelf is not willing to work or opt not to work, then that's ok. But, if the wife is educated & wants to work, why on earth the husband protest ? Does he has the right to do that ?!?!?! Even more so, he cannot give a good reason of not allowing his wife to do !?!?!? Why ? Why ? Why ???? I respect the wife even more so when she is willing to give in to her husband even though she has strong desire to work again.
Looking back (and forth), it is really not easy of being a WIFE, a MOTHER, maybe a GRANDMOTHER, a MOTHER-IN-LAW ....... never regret that i'm still single now :) In this context, i love the western culture of human right & freedom. Yes, I believe every individual must have his/her own freedom to do what they want - as long as they please God ! One shouldn't bond the other out of selfishness.
So, think twice, tri-wise, and x10 times before you decide that's the one you really really want to spend your life with !

There is someone ACTUALLY behaving like that ! That's why i dont understand how on earth we can still encounter as rare species ?
